Spurius Furius Medullinus Fusus was elected Consul of Rome in 481 BCE and again in 464 BCE. He led two campaigns against the Aequians, the first being remarkable for its unremarkableness, the second an unmitigated disaster resulting in the death of his own brother and the routing of the Roman army. Apart from these few brief mentions in Livy's Histories nothing else is known about him. Cool name though.
